Hemet Global Medical Center’s Pathology Department performs laboratory procedures for all healthcare related needs. Appropriate samples will be collected and routed to the appropriate referral laboratory for analysis. Initial testing and diagnosis is such an important step in helping our patients get back to enjoying life. If testing is required that our hospital does not support, additional resources are available.
Routine services are offered during these hours. The Specimen Procurement Unit is responsible for outpatient phlebotomy, specimen receiving and processing, and shipping samples to reference laboratories. Limited staffing and services are available during non-business hours, weekends, and federal holidays.
Hemet Global Medical Center’s Department of Pathology and its Medical Director are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). All Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) employed at Hemet Global Medical Center are licensed by the state to perform all respective testing.
